Campion is a census-designated place located in Larimer County, Colorado. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 1,832. The town is located between Loveland and Berthoud along U.S. Highway 287. It consists of a cluster of houses and small businesses surrounding the campus of Campion Academy, a private secondary school operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and founded in 1906. The town is named for John F. Campion, who helped establish the sugar beet industry in the northern Colorado in the late 19th century.
