As of the census of 2000, there are 2,323 people, 985 households, and 650 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 95.1/km² (246.4/mi²). There are 1,168 housing units at an average density of 47.8/km² (123.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 95.52% White, 0.17% African American, 0.47% Native American, 0.99% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.16% from other races, and 1.68% from two or more races. 3.79% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 985 households out of which 28.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.5% are married couples living together, 4.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.0% are non-families. 21.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.36 and the average family size is 2.77.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 20.9% under the age of 18, 4.3% from 18 to 24, 38.5% from 25 to 44, 31.4% from 45 to 64, and 4.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 116.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 116.6 males.
