Firestone is a town located in Weld County, Colorado. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,908.

Mountain National Park, major ski resorts, rafting, mountain biking, kayaking and hiking. Travel time to Denver from Firestone is approximately 20 minutes. Denver is home to such national sports teams as the Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies and Nuggets. Area cultural activities include the Denver Center of the Performing Arts, the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Natural History.

There are 664 housing units at an average density of 48.0/km² (124.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 83.65% White, 0.42% African American, 0.94% Native American, 0.58% Asian, 0.16% Pacific Islander, 11.48% from other races, and 2.78% from two or more races. 27.67% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 621 households out of which 44.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.8% are married couples living together, 10.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 19.0% are non-families. 13.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.07 and the average family size is 3.41.
In the town the population is spread out with 31.7% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 34.6% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 4.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 32 years. For every 100 females there are 96.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 100.3 males.
