Lakeside is a town located in Jefferson County, Colorado adjacent to the City and County of Denver. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 20. The town's namesake lake is Lake Rhoda, which covers 20% of its total area. A year after its incorporation in 1907, the amusement park White City opened in the town. Now known as Lakeside Amusement Park, it occupies nearly the entire area of the tiny municipality.
